Well, it's been almost a month. I'm glad that time, at least in terms of the blog, is moving quickly.

I'm busy. Very, very busy. I love my classes, I'm indifferent towards my classmates who seem to think we've entered the 7th grade, and I miss John more than I can explain.

I'm also sick of people belittling my relationship simply because it's long distance and we're not engaged yet. Apparently getting married is the cool thing to do right now, but I find it funny that people don't realize just how much your life is going to change when you commit to someone like that. I also find it funny that while John and I have yet to marry, we're probably one of the only couples around that are actually prepared for such a step. Planning a wedding may be fun, but don't forget to plan for the marriage as well. I wish more people would think about that before "taking the plunge." Good grief.

And for the record - we're not engaged primarily because we can't get married without screwing up my financial aid until after my second year of law school. ( Not that anyone cares. )

Summer stole what fall replaces...

Can't wait for the next eleven months to fly... if only all time flew by as quickly as blogger time.
